Hi! I’m Cemil Tolga Sahin,

a student driven by curiosity, creativity, and a passion for problem-solving.

I thrive at the intersection of science and analysis, always seeking to understand complex systems, whether through physics, statistics, or real-world data. My analytical mindset is complemented by a love for innovative thinking and leadership, which has shaped my path both academically and personally.

I’ve always been someone who enjoys exploring different areas—whether it's creating statistical models for U.S. elections or mapping population data to uncover insights about my province. My fascination with numbers and patterns often spills over into my projects, where I combine data with storytelling. I’m not afraid of diving deep into complex subjects, whether it's physics, where I competed internationally, or politics, where I use maps and demographics to analyze trends.

Beyond academics, I take pride in being a natural leader and someone who enjoys bringing people together. As the president of my school’s MUN Club, I’ve developed my skills in public speaking, mentorship, and debating on global issues. Running for school presidency also sharpened my leadership and connection-building abilities. I’ve always found great satisfaction in helping others, whether it’s representing my class as a class president or volunteering in agricultural work during the summers, where I’ve gained valuable perspectives on sustainability and rural life.

My passions don’t stop at science and leadership. I have a strong love for sports—especially soccer and basketball—and while injuries have slowed me down, they’ve also opened up new perspectives on coaching and game strategy. Music and creativity play a huge role in my life as well, from playing the piano to participating in theater performances. Reviewing movies and series is another outlet for my critical thinking, where I’ve reviewed over 300 films and maintain a blog where I explore my thoughts on culture, history, and more.

Ultimately, I’m someone who’s constantly evolving, always eager to learn new skills—whether it’s programming, languages, or something completely out of my comfort zone. Whether through data, maps, or leadership, I’m driven by the desire to understand, innovate, and make a positive impact wherever I can.
